How I work

My fees for ongoing work are between 40 and 80 for individuals and 60 and 100 for couples. I have a limited number of reduced fee sessions for those on a low income.

The fee for the initial interview is 80 for individuals and 100 for couples.
This can be negotiated.
Psychodynamic therapy recognises the importance of past experience and how it shapes current behaviour. The client will be encouraged to think and talk about significant childhood relationships. The therapist focuses on the dynamics of relating, and in particular how some aspects may be occurring between client and therapist.

Of central importance to my way of working is building a good therapeutic relationship where different aspects of a client’s internal and external world,
can be sensitively thought through.

Although my orientation is psychodynamic, my broad clinical experience has enabled me to work with a diversity of people and problems and recognise the uniqueness of an individual’s needs. I therefore modify my approach according to what is best suited to each person.
I predominantly work as a psychotherapist in private practice in central London where I see individuals, couples and supervisees.

I have consulting rooms near Oxford Circus W1, and in Bloomsbury WC1.

I also work in a private psychiatric hospital as a group therapist, an individuals and couples therapist and, as a clinical supervisor.
